Chelsea have identified Roma striker Paulo Dybala as a target for the January transfer window, it has been claimed in Italy.

The Blues want to add more goals to their squad in the winter window as they look to improve in the latter half of the season.

Nicolas Jackson has been lambasted for missing chances this term and Mauricio Pochettino wants to add an attacker to his squad.

Chelsea have been looking at several players and it has been claimed that they are looking into the Italian market.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Dybala has become a big target for Chelsea this month.

The Argentinian has five goals in 13 Serie A appearances this season and has struggled with injuries.

However, Chelsea are interested in him and are considering taking Dybala to Stamford Bridge in the winter window.

Dybala has a €12m release clause in his contract but it is only valid until 15th January, meaning the clock is ticking.

It remains to be seen whether the Blues decide to trigger the clause in the next week to sign the forward.
