Ipswich Town star Freddie Ladapo is not on Charlton Athletic’s transfer radar, according to the South London Press.
The 30-year-old centre forward signed for Ipswich in the summer of 2022 and scored 17 goals in the league to help the Blues earn promotion to the Championship last season.
However, this season, Ladapo has been a bit part player for Ipswich and has started only twice for Kieran McKenna’s side.
Charlton are in the market for a striker and it has been suggested that they are considering Ladapo.
Ladapo’s contract with Ipswich are set to expire at the end of June 2025 and the player might agree on a move this month in search of regular game time.
However, it has been claimed that Charlton are not interested in signing the Ipswich striker.
Charlton have Cheltenham star Will Goodwin on their transfer wish list and have seen a bid rejected.
It has also been suggested that the Addicks have submitted an improved bid to Cheltenham in the hope of signing the forward.
