Charlton Athletic are showing interest in signing Watford star Jeremy Ngakia in the ongoing transfer window, according to the South London Press.
The Addicks sacked Michael Appleton after a terrible run of form that has seen them winless since November.
Charlton are determined to strengthen their squad in the ongoing window and they have identified positions they need to add.
Right-back is a role they want to improve and they are in the market to find the ideal candidate to recruit.
It has been claimed that Charlton are interested in acquiring the services of Watford’s Ngakia.
Ngakia featured regularly for the Hornets this season before suffering an injury that has kept him out of action since early November.
The 23-year-old has a contract with Watford, which is set to expire at the end of June.
Watford are at risk of losing the player in the summer on a free transfer and now it remains to be seen whether Charlton will be able to convince the Hornets to let Ngakia leave this window.
