Hearts have agreed a deal with Charlton Athletic to sign Scott Fraser on loan, according to the Scottish Express Sport.
The 28-year-old midfielder joined Charlton from Ipswich Town in the winter transfer window in 2022.
Fraser wants to return to Scotland for personal reasons and he is determined to join Steven Naismith’s side.
Charlton initially agreed to a loan deal with Hearts early in the window, but the deal failed to materialise after the Addicks sacked their manager Michael Appleton.
The Jambos refused to give up on the hope of bringing Fraser to Scotland before deadline day.
And it has been claimed that Hearts have once again managed to agree to a loan deal with Charlton to sign Fraser.
Fraser has featured 78 times for the Addicks so far in his career, scoring ten goals and eleven assists in the process.
Now it remains to be seen whether Charlton will dig deep in the market to sign someone to beef up their midfield.
