Charlton Athletic have agreed a fee with League Two side Harrogate Town for Kayne Ramsay, according to the South London Press.
The Addicks are kicking on with their transfer business before the window slams shut this evening.
They have been drawn to Harrogate defender Ramsay and have thrashed out a fee with the Yorkshire club for him.
Ramsay has good pedigree, having spent time in the youth ranks at both Chelsea and Southampton.
He made a permanent move to Harrogate in the summer of 2022 and has featured on a regular basis.
Ramsay has turned out 24 times for Harrogate in League Two so far this season.
The right-back has also gone into the referee’s notebook on five occasions.
Charlton will now try to quickly push the capture of the London-born defender over the line.
