Richard Keys thinks that Everton out on loan star Neal Maupay is the most irritating player in the Premier League.

Maupay flopped at Everton, struggling to deliver the regular goals the Toffees craved, and was loaned out to Brentford in the summer.

The attacker was handed a start on Saturday in Brentford’s 4-1 loss at home against Liverpool in the Premier League and played for 63 minutes before being replaced.

Maupay often divides opinion with his playing style, but Keys believes that there is no more irritating player in the top flight at present.

And the veteran anchor was backed up by Everton legend Andy Gray.

Keys said on beIN SPORTS: “Is there a more irritating player in the Premier League right now, with little to back up his antics, than Neal Maupay?”

Gray replied: “No, there isn’t.

“When you think of how poor he was at Everton and how insignificant he was at Everton, he’s got an awful lot to say for himself at the moment

“But maybe that’s his character, I don’t know.”

Maupay has found the back of the net seven times for Brentford in the current campaign, while at Everton last term he struck just once.
