Galatasaray have identified Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen as the replacement for Tottenham Hotspur loanee Tanguy Ndombele.
The Turkish giants signed the midfielder on loan from Tottenham last summer but the Frenchman has struggled to impress in Turkey.
Galatasaray do have an option to make the move permanent but they are unlikely to buy Ndombele at the end of his loan stint due to his underwhelming spell.
He is set to return to Tottenham and Galatasaray are already moving into the market to source a replacement for him.
According to Turkish outlet Fotomac (via A Spor), Manchester United’s Eriksen has been identified as the player who could come in next summer.
The Dane has dropped down the pecking order of midfielders at Manchester United this season despite all the injuries to other players.
He has featured just once in the Premier League since February and has only been warming the bench in the last couple of months.
Manchester United are prepared to sell him and Galatasaray are set to make a move to land him.
The Turkish giants are set to hold talks with Manchester United and his agent in the coming days to discuss a transfer.
