Cardiff City are set to complete the signings of Calum Chambers and Chris Willock, while then another signing could ‘follow soon after’, according to Wales Online.

The Welsh club have shown activity in the transfer market of late and have a number of deals lined up though none have been confirmed so far.

The Bluebirds are believed to have beaten off interest from other clubs to snap up Willock, who is a free agent following his release from Queens Park Rangers.

The player has completed his medical and is close to penning a contract to join Erol Bulut’s squad, with an announcement imminent.

He is not the only one though, with Aston Villa defender Chambers expected to be next through the door with a medical having been booked.

And, it is suggested, another signing could potentially ‘follow soon after’ as Cardiff continue their signings blitz.

The Championship side have identified the top end of the pitch as an area they want to strengthen next season.

The Bluebirds are expected to target a striker, but it is unclear if an attacker could be the third man to quickly come through the door.
