EFL side Bromley are ‘moving closer’ on a deal to land Crystal Palace defensive talent Danny Imray, according to the South London Press.

Bromley won promotion from the National League last season through the playoffs and are preparing for a campaign in League Two.

They want to strengthen and feel that Palace defender Imray fits the bill.

Bromley have been working on signing the 20-year-old on a loan deal for next season and it is claimed they are now ‘moving closer’ on getting the switch done.

The EFL new boys are hoping to be able to wrap up the capture of Imray soon.

Imray played in the Premier League 2 for Crystal Palace last season and chipped in with an impressive eight assists in his 18 outings.

Bromley will hope the Eagles starlet can be a similar threat down the right flank in League Two next term.

Imray did come up against senior sides last term too, as he played for Crystal Palace’s Under-21s in their EFL Trophy campaign, which saw meetings with Wycombe Wanderers, AFC Wimbledon and Stevenage.
