Leicester City are trying to sign Odsonne Edouard from Crystal Palace on loan but it is a hard deal to do, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

The Foxes have done business in this transfer window as they are trying to build a squad to stay up this season.

Adding goals to the team is important and they are looking to add at least one more striker before the window shuts down.

Earlier today they were linked with Nantes striker Mostafa Mohamed for a potential swoop and now they are looking at another forward.

Steve Cooper is keen on bringing in Crystal Palace frontman Edouard on a loan deal and they have made an offer to the Eagles.

Even though the Foxes are trying for the French forward, the deal is hard to do at this moment.

The 26-year-old is in his final year of his contract at Selhurst Park and if Crystal Palace are to accept a loan offer, they need to extend his contract first.

With only five hours remaining in the transfer window, the Foxes have a serious race against time on their Edouard chase.
