The 26-year-old centre-back has made 55 appearances for Fluminense this season and has been a standout performer for them.

Nino is on the radar of several European outfits and Nottingham Forest have their eyes set on him.

Eintracht Frankfurt have been keen on landing the Brazilian defender, but it has been suggested that Nino is not interested in joining the German club.

Nottingham Forest have agreed verbal terms with the player over the transfer in the upcoming window.

However, the Tricky Trees have yet to agree on a transfer fee for the Brazilian, as Fluminense want $6m for Nino.

According to Sky Deutschland, Nottingham Forest are finding it difficult to come to an agreement with the Brazilian outfit regarding the transfer.

Now it remains to be seen whether Steve Cooper’s side will be able to find a resolution to bring Nino to the City Ground in the winter transfer window.
