Jelle ten Rouwelaar is set to treble his wages once he completes his move from Ajax to Manchester United this summer.

It emerged on Thursday that Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants the Ajax goalkeeping coach in his backroom staff at Old Trafford.

Rene Hake and Ruud van Nistelrooy are set to join his backroom staff and the club are now set to appoint a new goalkeeping coach.

Ajax appointed the 43-year-old former PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper just two weeks ago, but are not trying to block his move to Manchester United.

According to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, Ten Rouwelaar is set to earn three times his current salary at Ajax once he moves to Old Trafford.

Ten Hag has been pushing to bring in a new voice to help his first-team goalkeepers next season.

Ten Rouwelaar is the man he wants and Manchester United are set to buy out his contract from Ajax.

The Premier League giants are set to pay €100,000 to Ajax to get their hands on the goalkeeping coach this summer.

Ten Rouwelaar previously worked in England with Burnley where he spent two years as their goalkeeping coach.
