Derby County have thrashed out a fee with Charlton Athletic for the signature of Corey Blackett-Taylor, according to the South London Press.

The Addicks have kicked into gear in the winter transfer window and are boosting Michael Appleton’s squad.

Uche Ikpeazu is set to join the club from Port Vale, while Freddie Ladapo is arriving on loan from Ipswich Town.

Charlton have also just completed the capture of Rarmani Edmonds-Green from Huddersfield Town.

However, the incomings will be balanced with an outgoing as winger Blackett-Taylor is poised to exit the Valley.

Paul Warne’s Derby have been chasing the 26-year-old and they are set to succeed as they have now agreed a fee for his services.

Blackett-Taylor is now expected to hold talks with the Rams as he looks to agree personal terms, with a medical then set to follow.

The winger has made 25 appearances for Charlton in League One this season, scoring eight times and providing seven assists.

Now Warne will be able to lean upon Blackett-Taylor to boost Derby’s promotion push.
